Preschool Screening

For children three to five years of age

Early Childhood Screening is a quick and simple check of how your child is growing and developing between the ages of three and four years. A screening typically takes about an hour to two hours to complete. At your child’s screening, Licensed Early Childhood staff will check vision, hearing, height and weight, immunization (shots) status, thinking, language, and communication skills, social and emotional development. Early Childhood Screening is required by the State of Minnesota for every child entering Kindergarten and School Readiness Preschool.
